Taxi driver tried to lure girl in Lincoln Park, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are warning parents on the city's North Side about an attempted kidnapping in Lincoln Park.

Police say the driver of a taxi allegedly tried to lure a girl into his cab Saturday near Hermitage and Diversey. The victim refused to talk with the driver and was able to get away safely.

Police have limited information about the suspect and the only description of the cab is that it was white with four doors and black rims.
