Teen shot near Operation PUSH headquarters

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teen was shot in the torso near the Rainbow PUSH headquarters in the Bronzeville neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday near 49th and Drexel.

Police say the 17-year-old boy was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.

Rainbow PUSH's annual conference began Friday.
