Two killed in North Austin drive-by shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police say two men were killed in their vehicle in North Austin Sunday morning when a car pulled up alongside their and someone inside opened fire.

Investigators remain on the scene at North and Cicero. Police say the shooter's car pulled up alongside the victims' as they were driving through the intersection. One victim was shot in the head and the other sustained multiple fatal gunshot wounds throughout his body.

The two victims were transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition where they were pronounced dead.

Police have no suspects in custody and have not released the identities of the victims.
