Uber opens new drivers headquarters in West Pullman

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Uber just opened a new headquarters for its drivers in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood.

The rideshare company held a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday at its new partner support center near 115th and Halsted.

It's designed to serve thousands of drivers, or "partners" as Uber calls them, each week.

Staffers there will show them how to do things like use the driver app and track payments.
