Car crashes into Riverside bank
No one was injured after a car crashed into a bank in suburban Riverside on Monday afternoon.

RIVERSIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- No one was injured after a car crashed into a bank in suburban Riverside on Monday afternoon.

Riverside police said an 88-year-old driver was attempting to park in front of the bank when her foot slipped off the pedal and onto the accelerator. The Honda Accord jumped the curb and crashed into the front entrance of First American Bank around 12:06 p.m. Monday.

The driver did not require medical attention and no one inside the bank was injured.
