RIVERDALE, Ill. (WLS) -- Riverdale police released a video that shows two men running from the scene of a shooting that killed Rashad Oliver, 14. No one has been charged in the murder.

Oliver was shot in the head on Sunday. Security cameras caught the suspects running away after shots are fired near 143rd and Dearborn in the south suburb. Oliver was found in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. He later died at a hospital.

Oliver, who was in the foster care system, was an eighth grader at Roosevelt Junior High School. The superintendent said the boy was well liked.

"We are all mourning the loss of one of one of our students. It's kind of shocking. The community, we have never had something like this happen before. We want to make sure we are supportive of the family," Superintendent Jayne Burcell said.

Police said they are following up strong leads, but have made no arrests.

"The kid had words with someone and that's what it turned into from words," Gene Chambers said. "I don't know what a 14-year-old could have, you know, what was that about," Gene Chambers, neighbor, said.
