Schaumburg officers save baby girl
Two Schaumburg police officers are being called heroes for saving a 19-month-old girl's life.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Two Schaumburg police officers are being called heroes for saving a 19-month-old girl's life.

Dash-cam video shows the officers rushing to help the baby around 8:50 p.m. on March 10. Police said she stopped breathing while riding in the car with her grandmother on Higgins Road near Route 53.

Officers Kevin O'Connor and Bryan Poradzisz gave the child CPR. She started breathing again and regained consciousness.

The officers stayed with her until paramedics arrived. Police said she is expected to make a full recovery.
