VIDEO: Terrifying rollover crash caught on camera; officer saves driver's life

GRANDVIEW, Mo. (WLS) -- A police officer helped save the life of a driver he attempted to pull over in Grandview, Missouri, after the man was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover crash.

The officer's dashcam recorded the entire thing. The video shows the driver speeding away from the squad trying to stop him for a possible traffic offense.

The SUV eventually spun out of control, hit a curb and flipped several times. The driver was thrown into a ditch.

The officer found him with serious injuries and no pulse. He and a nurse who had also pulled over began CPR and were able to revive the man.

The driver was transported to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police said the man was behind the wheel with a revoked license and that alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
