CHICAGO (WLS) -- A prayer vigil was held Sunday for a 15-year-old boy who was killed in a shooting on Chicago's Far South Side.

Tyler Ellis' relatives and loved ones gathered at 133rd and Langley, where he was gunned down earlier this month.

Police say someone approached him in a courtyard in Altgeld Gardens and shot him.

At the vigil Sunday night, Ellis' parents asked anyone with information about the shooter to come forward.
