VIRAL VIDEO: Elders tackle tough issues for Memorial Day
While many across the country will observe moments of silence today, a group of elders has quite a bit to say.
The FineBros YouTube channel's latest video tackles some pretty tough topics in honor of Memorial Day.
The group watched the viral video from last Veterans Day in which a homeless veteran gets a dramatic physical transformation. They then shared their feelings about homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse among veterans, as well as how patriotism has changed over their lifetimes.
The group also got to the heart of what Memorial Day means for them. And they had some sound advice on how to show appreciation for all servicemen and women, past and present.
"Give them a hug, for Pete's sake. Shake their hand. Get to know them."
