A woman was stabbed to death Thursday morning in the Pilsen neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

CHICAGO -- A woman was stabbed to death Thursday morning in the Pilsen neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

Maria Ramos, 34, was found stabbed in the head at the Spin Cycle laundromat in the 1700-block of West Cermak at 8:23 a.m., officials said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police say the victim worked at the laundromat, and that the incident may be domestic in nature.
