Dog lovers and their canine friends are heading to Soldier Field on May 21, 2016 for the Anti-Cruelty Society's 22nd Bark in the Park.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dog lovers and their canine friends are heading to Soldier Field on May 21, 2016 for the Anti-Cruelty Society's 22nd Bark in the Park. The new location comes after the cancellation of the event in 2015 because of canine influenza. Rain or shine, thousands of dogs are high-tailing it to Stadium Green for a morning of fun.

The Anti-Cruelty Society is Chicago's oldest and largest animal welfare organization. The money raised at Bark in the Park keeps the society's mission alive: providing unlimited stay humane services, adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, dog training classes and more. ABC 7 is a proud sponsor of Bark in the Park. ABC 7'S Roz Varon and Hosea Sanders are emceeing the event. Eyewitness News joined Dr. Robyn Barbiers, the President of the Anti-Cruelty Society, for all the fun.
