Meet Pizza Squirrel, Chicago's own pizza-loving rodent

CHICAGO (WLS) -- New York's pizza rat had its moment, but there's a new pizza-loving rodent lighting up social media.

Chicago has its very own pizza-loving rodent.

Meet Pizza Squirrel. Andrew Goodman, 34, captured these photos Friday morning in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood. He spotted the squirrel enjoying a slice in a tree near Chicago and Bishop.

"I only took the picture because my wife loves squirrels so much," Goodman said. "I didn't realize it would catch on like this!"

Goodman's friend Melissa McEwen shared the photo on Twitter Friday morning. It's already been retweeted more than 400 times.
