LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- Five polling locations in Lake County, Ill., will remain open until 9 p.m. Judge Mitchell Hoffman extended the grace period after two complaints were filed by Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

Those locations:

Lake County Clerk's Office, 18 N. County St., Room 101, Waukegan

Lake County Central Permitting Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville

Gurnee Village Hall, 325 O'Plaine Road, Gurnee

North Chicago City Hall, 1850 Lewis Ave., North Chicago

County Clerk Annex, 415 Washington St., Waukegan

In the complaint, Madigan alleges that Lake County Clerk Willard Helander failed to comply with state election law allowing residents to register and vote during a grace period that includes Election Day, November 4, 2014. Madigan argued grace period registration locations were to open at 6 a.m. according to Illinois law, but the Lake County Clerk's website had them as open at 10 a.m.
