BallotReady website seeks to help voters on Election Day

Do you ever find yourself guessing at the ballot box during election season because you are not as informed as you would like to be?

Alex Niemczewski and Aviva Rosman, from the University of Chicago, found themselves faced with the same issue and wanted to do something about it. This is how BallotReady was born.

BallotReady is an online search aggregator that pulls information on all candidates in a given area in an attempt to properly inform voters before going into the ballot box. The website is currently available in 25 states nationwide.

Alex and Aviva won the University of Chicago's Social New Venture Challenge and received $30,000 to aid their new website.
