Emanuel campaign responds to vote-by-mail complaint

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Rahm Emanuel's campaign sent out an e-mail Friday afternoon asking people who want to vote by mail to download the application and send the completed form directly to the Board of Elections.

This advisory happens one day after Eyewitness News reported on complaints by the Willie Wilson campaign.

It said an earlier request by the Emanuel campaign to send those applications to the Emanuel campaign headquarters opened the door to possible tampering and other abuses.
