CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Colorado family on vacation in Kansas City got quite the presidential surprise.

They were having dinner at Arthur Bryant's Barbeque when Secret Service announced a VIP was coming. Moments later, the president walked in.

They grabbed their camera and snapped a selfie with the president in the background.

Turns out President Obama wanted to order coleslaw, but it was sold out. The family says that if they'd known, they would have given theirs up for the Commander in Chief.
