Lady Gaga holds protest in front of Trump Tower

NEW YORK -- Lady Gaga held a one woman protest in front of Trump Tower Tuesday night, when it became obvious that Donald Trump was going to win the election.

The Hillary Clinton supporter held up a sign that read "Love trumps hate" while she was propped up on the side of a New York City sanitation truck, ABC News reported.

The singer wrote on social media: "I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness #LoveTrumpsHate He divided us so carelessly."

Earlier on Tuesday, Gaga performed and gave a speech at Clinton's final rally in North Carolina. The singer also attended Clinton's election night party in Manhattan. Several posts on social media showed the pop star in action Tuesday night. Take a look:
