Mayor Emanuel meets with President Obama at White House

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- Mayor Rahm Emanuel met with President Barack Obama at the White House on Monday.

Emanuel is in Washington DC to meet with cabinet secretary and administration officials to discuss efforts to move Chicago forward.

Emanuel served as President Obama's first Chief of Staff in 2008 before resigning to run for mayor of Chicago.
