CHICAGO (WLS) -- "The Donald" is asking "Da Coach" to appear at the Republican National Convention in July, according to a report by Bloomberg Politics.

Bloomberg reports that Trump's campaign is lining up a slate of iconic sports figures to appear in Cleveland, including legendary Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka. The report also says boxer Mike Tyson and former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight have been invited.

The spate of stars asked to participate appear to be targeting male voters age 45 and older. Trump has said while on the campaign trail that he wants to convention to be "a gathering of 'winners'-not politicians, like at past conventions," Bloomberg reports.
