Best Western breaks ground on new hotel near Midway

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new boutique hotel is coming to Chicago, built near Midway airport.

The groundbreaking for Best Western International's new VIB Hotel at 65th and Cicero was held Tuesday.

Chicago is the first North American market to get the company's new hotel brand that is aimed at urban travelers. It's expected to create 100 new jobs and is set to open in late 2016.
