Cardinal George leads for All Souls Day requiem Mass

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Francis Cardinal George led a requiem Mass as parishioners gathered in Holy Name Cathedral to mark All Souls Day on Sunday evening.

All Souls Day is the day when Catholics traditionally honor and pray for the deceased.

It is a national holiday in Mexico, when family and friends of the deceased also leave flowers and foods for the deceased at private altars.
