Chabad of Bucktown celebrates Hanukkah with public menorah lighting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hanukkah celebrations are underway this weekend across the Chicago area.

The Jewish holiday commemorating the re-dedication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem began Saturday night.

The Chabad of Bucktown held its first public menorah lighting ceremony.

The event featured live music and a menorah pedicab parade. Those attending received traveling menorah kits.
