CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's faith leaders held a vigil in support of immigrant families Thursday night.

Nearly a dozen clergy led the vigil at First United Methodist Church in the Loop. They denounced what they call hateful post-election rhetoric targeting Mexicans, Muslims and other groups.

They pledged solidarity with hundreds of immigrants who attended the event.
