CAPE MAY, N.J. -- Firefighters and lifeguards formed a human chain in Cape May to rescue a swimmer struggling in the water.

The swimmer ran into trouble while trying to save three other swimmers on Friday afternoon.

Two firefighters just happened to be nearby.

They saw what happened and joined lifeguards in the dramatic rescue.
