Dad Golf Gifts
If you want to help improve Dad's golf game, there's plenty of new technology just in time for Father's Day.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Father's Day is coming up on Sunday, June 19, 2016. If you want to help improve Dad's golf game, there's plenty of new technology sure to take a few strokes off his score. Andy Mickelson, Director of Golf at the Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville joined ABC 7 to show off a few of the hottest golf gadgets on the market.

Taylormade M1 - uses a series of sliding weights both lateral and vertical to create the proper combination of spin, loft, and forgiveness. It's the most adjustable driver in golf made.

Taylormade M2 - uses a lightweight 11g carbon crown like the M1, but has a single mass weight low and deep in the club head. What this does is provides an extremely large sweet spot for golfers of all levels with very high ball speeds. Its sacrifice is adjustability with only being able to adjust loft.

Callaway XR (Family) - Callaway's primary focus is the maximization of ball speed which creates the maximum amount of distance. With input from Boeing, they've created the most aerodynamic family of woods in golf. Adjustability of loft and face angle can be done to a moderate degree

Titleist 915 D (Family) - Titleist has gotten into the innovation game with this family of drivers. Some of the proven technologies like power channels and back weighting to create greater ball speeds are now found on the Titleist drivers. Titleist has always been known for very traditional looking clubs, but now have the latest technology and adjustability working in their favor.
