Spring cleaning with Swapadventure

NORRIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- If you are looking so get rid of some of your old, gently used household items and clothes, an upcoming event could help you find something new and help local charities. Swapadventure allows visitors to recycle, shop for free, and give back at the same time. The next 2-hour event is coming up on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 6pm in Go Bananas in Norridge. Any leftover items from the event gets distributed by Swapadventure directly to shelters. Orphanages, and low income programs. Co-founders of Swapadventure, Maggie Pawelko and Angelika Babich, visited ABC 7 Eyewitness News to talk about their programs.
