12-year-old pianist performs 'The Dance of the Gnomes'

CHICAGO -- Joshua Mhoon, 12, will be heading to Vienna, Austria, to study with world-renowned pianist Lang Lang. He was selected out of 300 applicants from 49 different countries.

Joshua is from Arlington Heights. He attends the Merit School of Music in Chicago's West Loop to perfect his craft.

He showcased his talent by performing "Gnonereigen" by Liszt, also known as "The Dance of the Gnomes."

Joshua has a new album out called "Chopin for Kids." It's out on Googleplay, Spotify, Rhapsody and on iTunes Friday.
