Chicago Cubs' Anthony Rizzo hosts Laugh-Off for Cancer charity event

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is hosting a star-studded comedy show next month to raise money for cancer research that you won't want to miss!

The All-Star first baseman for the Chicago Cubs spoke on his event, "Laugh-Off for Cancer." wTom Papa, a regular guest on "The TonightShow," "Conan" and "The Late Show with David Letterman," will headline the show.

Laugh-Off for Cancer will be held at American Junkie in Chicago's River North neighborhood on Thursday, Jan. 15, from 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

General admission is $150, which includes cocktails and appetizers from American Junkie, Shaw's Crab House, Summer House Santa Monica and Wow Bao. Guests must be 21 and older. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, which raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and their families battling the disease.
