AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- The City of Aurora held a birthday bash celebrating some of its youngest and oldest residents Tuesday afternoon.
Seven adults celebrated their 100th birthdays and around 50 babies celebrated their 1st birthdays with cake and refreshments at the Prisco Community Center.
There was fun for the young - and young at heart - with appearances by Mickey Mouse, Pancakes the Clown and several members of the Aurora police and fire departments.
Each birthday guest received a gift bag from the mayor and each centenarian received a proclamation from the city honoring their birthday.
Mayor Richard C. Irvin hosted the party in conjunction with his 100th day in office.
