Delta Sigma Theta sorority gala raises money for CPS students

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Delta Sigma Theta sorority gala was held Sunday night to raise money for scholarships for Chicago Public Schools students.

The event was held at the Hyatt Regency at McCormick Place.

ABC7 anchor Cheryl Burton co-emceed the event.

The sorority also honored local leaders who have made an impact on the community through education and social action.
