Fisherman has prized catch ripped away by hammer shark

A fisherman had a prize fish by the hook, but a giant hammer shark snatched it away at the last moment.

Dennis Machado and his friends were fishing off the coast of Anna Maria Island in Florida last week. As one of the friends was reeling in a catch, a dark shadow approached the boat and within seconds the hammerhead seized the fish by the hook. Somehow, the fish escaped from both the fisherman and the large predator.
