Gately Park to get city's first indoor public track facility

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Gately Park in the Pullman neighborhood will be getting a new indoor track facility.

The facility will offer a 200-meter track with eight running lanes and an area equipped to hold track and field events, such as hurdles, shot put and long jump.

The indoor track will be open year-round and will be the city's first public indoor track.
