LISLE, Ill. (WLS) -- One of the prettiest events of the season starts Wednesday at The Morton Arboretum in west suburban Lisle.

Guests can see 4,000 pieces of hand-blown glass pumpkins and other fall designs at the arboretum's Glass Pumpkin Patch. They can also watch artists create new pieces during daily demonstrations.

The exhibition will be held in the West Lawn Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free.

If guests would like to buy a glass creation, the Glass Pumpkin Patch Market will be open from 1-5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
