Imerman Angels Brunch Run supports cancer fighters

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Imerman Angels Brunch Run 5K and Walk returns Saturday to Montrose Harbor.

Imerman Angels CEO, Executive Director and three-time cancer survivor Ben Bornstein discussed Thursday the annual run, which that is set to welcome more than 2,000 runners and walkers this weekend.

They're coming together to raise funds to support Imerman Angels' mission of providing one-on-one support for cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.

Participants will enjoy:

-a signature brunch buffet from award-winning Blue Plate Catering

-a picturesque course with skyline views along the lakeshore

-on-course gourmet surprises

-mimosas and ice-cold beer for the adults

-an iced coffee bar provided by High Brew Coffee

Registration is $50 for adults and $20 for children ages 5-12. Virtual runner options are available for those who are unable to make the event.
