Lake County Haven holds annual gala to help homeless women, children

VERNON HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- Hundreds of people gathered Saturday night to raise money for homeless women and children.

The Lake County Haven held its annual gala in Vernon Hills to raise money for the homeless who are transitioning to independent living.

Windy City Live co-host Val Warner was the emcee for the event.
