Lombard Fire Department hosts 14th annual Toy Drive
'Tis the season to show your spirit of giving, and the fire department in west suburban Lombard is doing just that with its 14th annual Toy Drive.

LOMBARD, Ill. (WLS) -- 'Tis the season to show your spirit of giving, and the fire department in west suburban Lombard is doing just that with its 14th annual Toy Drive. Firefighters want to make sure children in need have a great holiday season. The toy drive ends with a parade and toy collection event.

Josh Hays, who has been a firefighter and paramedic for six years and has been organizing the toy drive for four years, joined us live from Fire Station One in Lombard during our ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sunday Morning. With him was Tori Torrence, family support manager at Teen Parent Connection, which is one of the charities that benefits from the toy drive.
