Lunar New Year celebration hosted by Asian American Coalition

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Chicago's Asian American community celebrated the Lunar New Year with a gala in the suburbs Saturday night.

The 32nd annual Lunar New Year celebration was hosted by the Asian American Coalition, and was emceed by ABC7 Eyewitness News' Judy Hsu and Eric Horng.

Nearly 1,000 people gathered at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont for the festivities, which celebrate the year of the ram.
