CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city's Heart of Chicago neighborhood celebrated a moment in Mexico's history.

On Monday night, people got together in Harrison Park to commemorate Mexico's independence from Spain in 1810.

They reenacted the "Cry of Dolores," also known as "El Grito," which was the declaration of independence by a Mexican priest who rebelled against the Spanish.
