Pillow Talk: DNA Dilemma

Today's question comes from Valerie in Montgomery, IL and this is definitely the first time we have heard this issue.

She writes: "I have a friend in his fifties who has finally found real love with a woman 23 years younger than him. He wants to propose to her, but he recently discovered that she is the daughter of a woman he dated 23 years ago! It's crossed his mind that this young woman could be his daughter. He wants a DNA test, but is afraid if he asks, she will end the relationship. Is it rude for me to tell him to break it off?"
