Pillow Talk: Mother vs. daughter

Today's question is from Ann in Justice, Ill.

She says, "I'm a smoker of 30 years and my 30 year-old daughter has been overweight for over 16 years. I keep reminding her to lose weight because boys don't like fat girls. She throws it back in my lap saying, 'I'll lose weight when you quit smoking.' I tell her that she should eat healthy because she has her whole life ahead of her. I know I sound like a hypocrite because of my smoking. Can someone help please?"
