Pillow Talk: Wedding Worry

Friday's question comes from Deanna in Chicago, IL. She writes, "I'm currently engaged to be married next fall, and I'm having an issue with my maid of honor. She moved to Tennessee earlier this year and I have not heard from her since. I understand she is busy with her new job and relocation, but I feel like she doesn't care about me anymore, and won't have time to help me plan things. She and I have been friends since we were little kids and I've always promised her she could be my maid of honor, but I have other friends that live here in Illinois that I know would be an amazing maid of honor. Should I 'fire' my maid of honor and ask someone else that has more time to help me plan my wedding?"
