We may be playing Belgium in Tuesday's World Cup match, but that doesn't mean we have to hate EVERYTHING Belgian. After all, some delicious things come out of the small European nation: chocolate, beer, Audrey Hepburn (weird to call her delicious? Probably). Here's how we stack up to the land of Brussels sprouts, from food to inventions and more.

1. Most popular actress

Belgium: Audrey Hepburn, the original manic pixie dream girl who still manages to captivate our hearts.

USA: Jennifer Lawrence, who suddenly became everyone's favorite person and best friend when she took the role of Katniss Everdeen.

Beautiful but different, no?

2. Famous chocolate

Belgium: Godiva. Oh my Lord, Godiva chocolates set the bar. Nothing makes a girl happier than getting this gold box.

USA: Hershey's. Well, it tastes good when you make s'mores, which is a pretty all-American activity that I can't see many Belgians doing. Take that, Belgians!

Put some toasty marshmallows on that sucker.

3. Cartoon/comic book character of choice

Belgium: Tintin and his trusty dog, Snowy. Tintin books have sold more than 200 million copies worldwide, combining memorable characters, great art and intelligent conversations that delight kids and adults alike.

USA: Bart Simpson. Makes people laugh, I guess?

A pattern is starting to emerge of what Americans tend to like...

4. Breakfast food

Belgium: customizable waffle stand. Think DIY frozen yogurt, but with waffles. Delicious, sweet crispy waffles...

USA: pancakes! Pancakes are delicious and also can be eaten with many delectable fillings and toppings, but they're not yet sold streetside.

I smell a business opportunity.

5. Random inventions

Belgium: saxaphone, BMI weight index, oil painting (15th century, that's what's up)

USA: swivel chair (we salute you, Thomas Jefferson), the Roomba vacuum, 3-D printing

You be the judge!
