USO Barbecue for the Troops at 56 car dealerships in Chicago area
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago auto dealerships are hosting USO Barbecue for the Troops events on July 18 to raise money for local troops and their families.
In just two years, the Chicago Automobile Trade Association dealers raised $125,000 for the USO of Illinois by hosting the fundraising events. This year is expected to be bigger than ever!
More than 50 barbecues will be held at dealerships in the city and suburbs on July 18. People are encouraged to stop by and enjoy a hotdog or hamburger for a donation.
Can't make the BBQ? There's another way to give: Cup Holder Change Drive, where motorists are encouraged to give during their next service appointment since every cent counts.
