Pricey penthouse available for Super Bowl at The Fairmont
For a mere $1 million, you can rent the penthouse at The Fairmont San Francisco for Super Bowl weekend.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Super Bowl 50 has hotels around San Francisco charging prices like we've never seen. There's still one special place unclaimed. It's also, as far as we can tell, the most expensive room in this city's history.

Anyone can walk in the lobby where presidents and princes have. For a million dollars, you can sleep where they did too.

"So welcome to the penthouse at the Fairmont San Francisco," said Erin Loughlin, The Fairmont San Francisco.

"How big is this thing?" asked ABC7's Reggie Aqui.

"It's over 6,000 square feet; it has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library, billiards room, a dining room, kitchen, beautiful parlor and balcony," said Loughlin.

Normally, all this can be yours for $18,000 a night. This weekend's million dollar price includes 22 Super Bowl tickets in a gold suite at Levi's stadium. You get a luxury ride to the game with private chef and bartender on board. Tickets to V.I.P. parties, and this includes a $150,000 charity donation. Also, four nights in the sweet suite.

"Nearly every president has stayed here since Truman, including JFK, we've had Mick Jagger and Mikhail Gorbachev," said Loughlin.

Go to the library's second floor, and find the room's hidden feature.

"The secret door opens out on to the roof," said Loughlin.

An unbelievable room -- for an unprecedented Super Bowl price -- in this residence of presidents.
