Chicago baseball memorabilia to be offered at auction at Christie's

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Christie's, the famed international auction house, will present one of the largest-ever collections of baseball memorabilia and photography offered at auction.

The collection features some remarkable pieces tied to Chicago's diamond history.

Prior to the sale, Christie's is taking a portion of the assemblage to three cities, including Chicago, where it will be on public display Sept. 26-27 at the JW Marriott hotel lobby.
