CHICAGO (WLS) -- Promising more relief for baseball fans while renovations are underway at Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs set up porta-potties before Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals was canceled.

Tuesday's game was canceled "due to the forecast of rain and sub-freezing wind chills throughout the evening," according to @Cubs tweet.

No announcement yet on when the makeup game will be, but fans should hang on to their tickets from the postponed game, according to @Cubs.

During the season's home opener on Sunday, frustrated fans waited in bathroom lines that stretched through the ballpark. Renovations took out three bathrooms, and two others were flooded on Sunday. The Cubs apologized for the inconvenience, and promised to do better.

City building inspectors were called out and said, "a preliminary inspection determined a malfunction occurred in the skybox restrooms which, in turn, affected the operation and use of upper deck restrooms.

Tuesday morning, dozens of porta-potties were dropped off at Wrigley. Some were placed inside the concourse, while others remain outside the Waveland entrance to the ballpark. Cubs officials said the portable toilets will bring the Friendly Confines back up to its normal count for available bathrooms.

"I heard they were shipping in porta-potties. So not too concerned. But I'll make sure I go to the bathroom beforehand, just in case," Eric Kercher said.

The Cubs expect four new restrooms to be available by mid-May.
