Whether you love or hate the Yankees, you got to respect Derek Jeter.

The legendary short stop of the New York Yankees will be retiring at the end of the 2014 MLB season. Amidst a career full of incredible highs and few letdowns, Jeter is going to be missed dearly by his Bronx benefactors and the baseball community at large.

Gatorade helped commemorate Jeter's legacy with the touching ad below. Set to Frank Sinatra's "I Did It My Way," it features Jeter walking through the streets of New York, meeting gracious fans before stepping through the storied halls of Yankee Stadium and out onto the field. Jeter's last game will be Thursday, September 25th as the Yankees host the Baltimore Orioles. Check out the video below and try not to tear up.
