CHICAGO (WLS) -- Former Chicago Bear Charles "Peanut" Tillman will tandem jump on Aug. 20 during the Chicago Air & Water Show.

Tillman's jump with the U.S. Army Golden Knights will open the show. He will touch down in front of the Boat House at North Avenue Beach at 10 a.m.

The retired football player seeks to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the USO, which helps care for the needs of people who serve and their families.

The 58th annual air show runs Aug. 20-21 along the lakefront between Fullerton Avenue and Oak Street in Chicago, with North Avenue Beach as the show center. Show runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Some of the 2016 headliners are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights and the U.S. Navy Leap Frogs. The U. S. Air Force F-35 will take part in the show for the first time.
