John Deere Classic draws pro-golfers from around the world

SILVIS, Ill. (WLS) -- The PGA tour is coming back to Illinois! The John Deere Classic festivities begins July 6 in Silvis at TPC Deere Run.

The annual tournament brings some of the best golf players from around the globe. Actor-comedian Bill Murray is one of the celebrities competing in this year's Pro-Am on Wednesday, July 8.

The John Deere Classic Tournament begins on Thursday, July 9th. It will feature Grand Slam hopeful Jordan Spieth, who already won both the Masters and U.S. Open.

To keep the pros fueled for the competition, TPC Deere Run is making meals fit for champions.
